This 11 member elected standing group discusses technical services topics. It is empowered to make decisions on procedure and some policy decisions, and to make recommendations to Administrative Council for higher level policy decisions. It also reviews technical services procedures and works together to resolve technical services issues.

Franklin Grove Public Library

The Administrative Council is PrairieCat's board of directors and consists of 11 elected representatives from the Delegates Assembly. This governing body sets policy, receives and approves recommendations from the Ad Hoc and Standing Committees, and approves recommendations to go to the Delegates Assembly including new members, contracts, the budget and major purchases outside the budget.

 

Who should attend: Members of the Council and any other interested parties. This meeting is open to the public.

Vox and Wonderbooks Chargers

We are considering starting to circulate the charging cords with our Vox and Wonderbooks collection, and I wanted to see how other libraries circulate these cords.  Are they catalogued and checked out separately along with the talking books, or they just given to the patron at checkout?  Thanks!
