Sierra Vega Discover eCommerceJoin PrairieCat staff for a new directors welcome meeting. We will go over some of the basics of what PrairieCat does for our members. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and chat with fellow new directors.
This body approves the budget, contracts, new members and other major decisions for PrairieCat. Consists of a representative from each Fully Participating and Basic Online member as well as four Union Listing representatives acting as co-chairs of the Union Listing standing group. Each Fully Participating or Basic Online Member Library shall appoint its Chief Administrator or another staff member to act as the Fully Participating or Basic Online Member Library’s representative (“Delegate”) on the Delegates Assembly. The Delegate may also designate, in writing, an alternate to vote in their absence. No substitutes or proxies shall be allowed to vote in the place of a Delegate or their designated Alternate. Who should attend: Participation in Delegates Assembly is required for Delegates or Alternates from each Fully Participating or Basic Online member of PrairieCat, and the four Union List reps. RAILS and Baker & Taylor will be hosting a welcome webinar for new PrairieCat eRead Illinois member libraries. The webinar will cover the current user experience both within the Axis 360 app and on the web, the admin portal, and what you can do to be ready to hit the ground running when the new Boundless user experience launches in September. The session is designed for new PrairieCat eRead Illinois members. However, current PrairieCat eRead Illinois members are welcome to join. The webinar will be recorded.
PrairieCat Users Group Day (PUG Day) is an annual event dedicated to professional development, networking, and continuing education for member library staff.

Registration
There is no registration fee.
Attendees must use L2 to register.
Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 13.
When registering, please note any accommodations in the fields provided.
Lunch
Attendees will be able to OPT IN to a catered, on-site lunch. When registering, select the Waubonsee Community College + Lunch option under the Location drop down.
Billing: PrairieCat will bill the library for the total lunch cost for their library staff that opted in. If a staff person is not going to attend, lunch registration must be cancelled by September 13. Invoices for those who have opted in to lunch will be sent to the libraries after the event.
This training session will focus on gathering IPLAR statistical data. To gather the data, we’ll use 4 PrairieCat-supplied reports (with tips to isolate your library’s data) and 1 Decision Center report that you will need to run for your library. The session will only cover the Sierra-specific data, not 3rd-party data such as OCLC, Overdrive, or eRead Illinois statistics. This session will be a workshop format and participants will have the opportunity to follow the steps and gather their library’s statistics.
This session will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
Who should attend? These sessions are useful for all PrairieCat public libraries, whether you’re fully participating, basic online, or union list.
