UPDATE 7/24/2024
Capira has given us the update that the mobile app is now up and running. If a patron is still having trouble loading or using the app they are recommended to delete the app, restart their phone, and to reinstall the application. Should a patron have an ongoing issue after completing these steps, please submit a ticket with the following information:
Patron's barcode and PIN
Device Information - Make and Model and OS
Steps they tried to resolve the problem.
UPDATE 7/23/2024
PrairieCat libraries have reported issues with the PrairieCat mobile app. This is affecting both Android and iOS users. The following services are being impacted:
Android and iOS users are unable to log into app.
iOS users have reported the app crashing, even after our previous suggestion of deleting and reinstalling the application.
OCLC/Capira is aware of the issues and are investigating the cause of the outages. These issues are affecting other customers as well. They currently do not have a timeline on when users can expect a fix but PrairieCat will share more information as it becomes available.
UPDATE 7/16/2024
Capira / OCLC continues to work on the PrairieCat mobile app. They have already introduced some fixes that seem to have solved the card registration issue, which was primarily on Android devices. The issue with the app failing to launch on iOS has been partially resolved. The fix can be applied by
Capira / OCLC is continuing to work on both versions of the app and we hope to have this resolved soon.
7/15/2024 ALERT
Over the weekend, PrairieCat libraries have reported issues with the PrairieCat mobile app. This is affecting both Android and iOS users. The following services are being impacted:
For iOS users, most of the reports state that they cannot open the app.
For Android users, the tickets are reporting issues with adding a card, accessing the catalog and/or their reading history.
PrairieCat has a ticket open with OCLC/Capira. We will provide updates as we hear more.
