Account Already Exists Login Error Fix

Patrons would sometimes see a, "User with username XXXXXXXX already exists." error when attempting to login to Vega. Innovative has corrected the issues that were causing this problem.


Some patrons have reported an error message of Account Already Exists when trying to log in to the catalog Vega Discover. This prevents them from being able to log in even though they have an account. It has happened to a handful of patrons. 

If this happens, library staff should submit a ticket and PrairieCat staff will resolve the issue. Please include the patron number and barcode number. PrairieCat has to report it to Innovative for resolution. Thank you.
