Training: Vega Discover Showcases Course Now Available

It's finally here! The Showcases TalentLMS Course is available for all circulating PrairieCat member library staff. 

What are Showcases? 

  • Showcases can be used to customize your library's Vega Discover homepage in the Homepage Builder with the Site Admin or Content Creator role. (course coming soon!)
  • Showcases can be embedded in a website or email displaying up to 20 titles at a time.
  • Showcases can be tied to the Resource page of the related title in the Vega Discover catalog.

Upon course completion, a notification will be sent to PrairieCat staff to create your login information with the Vega Discover staff interface with Showcase Admin permissions. Please allow up to 5 business days for login creation. You will receive an email from a member of PrairieCat staff and from no-reply@iiivega.com to your library email connected to your TalentLMS account prompting you to create a password. The password creation link is only active for 12 hours so be sure to keep an eye out!

There will be two Zoom Open Office Hours available for those that have additional questions about Showcases:
