Vega Discover - Reading History Issues

Issue Status


The Vega Discover reading history issue has been resolved. Patrons who have opted to save reading history should see their titles displayed. Please submit a help desk ticket if you experience any other issues. 

7/11/2024 UPDATE:

An update on the Vega Discover reading history issue - Innovative is working on this issue and it may take a little longer to address than they originally thought (so it won't be resolved as soon as this week). It's being worked on as a high priority. PrairieCat will let you know once there is a fix.

In the meantime, patrons can select the “opt in” button again if they need to view their reading history. We apologize for the inconvenience.


7/09/2024 UPDATE:

As we notified yesterday, Innovative is working on the issue with patron Reading History in Vega. When a patron accesses their reading history in their account, it is presenting them with a button asking them to opt into reading history. If the patron does click on the "opt in" button, their reading history will be displayed. This will happen every time a patron logs back into their account. Innovative is aware of the issue and is actively working on a fix for it. Innovative support said that the fix is fast tracked and will be coming shortly.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. For now, please advise patrons to click on the "opt in" button. Nothing will be adversely affected if they do so, and they will be able to see their reading history again.

PrairieCat has received reports that patron reading history is not displaying in Vega Discover. PrairieCat has reported the issue to Innovative.
