UPDATE: Status of Notices

ACTION: Informational

We are continuing to have problems with some of our hold notices. We’ve been working with Innovative since the problem was discovered last week but our notice processing is heavily customized due to our consortium’s size and preferences and  it is a complicated process to try and get all the pieces back in place. We are continuing to work with Innovative and will hopefully have this fully solved soon.

UPDATE:

Just an update on what is and isn’t going out.

  • If a patron has a notice preference of email or text, these are still going out. If they have a notice preference of print, these are not going out.
  • From what we’ve been able to determine, Hold, Courtesy and Friendly Reminder notices are sent via email, phone or text and are going out.
  • The 14 and 21 day overdue notices are sent by email or printed. The print notices are not being emailed to the member libraries for distribution.
  • The 30 day overdue and 44 day bill notices are sent by print only. These are not being emailed to the member libraries for distribution.
  • The failed phone call report is not being sent via email to the member libraries.

PrairieCat staff will keep you apprised of any changes.
