TRAINING: Did You Know?, June 2019 Viewing Circulation History

Did You Know there are several ways to determine the patron who previously had an item checked out if staff needs to contact them regarding damage or for another reason? It is a PrairieCat policy to retain information on the previous three patrons to assist staff with troubleshooting. Circulation history is accessed only from a specific item record. Once an item is returned/checked in, there is no longer a link in the patron’s record in the Checkout (Circulation Desk) function.
