TRAINING: Did You Know, December 2019 - Reciprocal Borrowers

Because there are several different types of reciprocal borrowers that could use your library, explaining the differences (especially to your new staff members) can be confusing. PrairieCat created a Return on Investment document to highlight the progress the organization made in FY19 ending in June 2019 and some of the ways your library benefited from membership in PrairieCat. This is an “at a glance” document that should be easy to share with your library’s board and stakeholders to emphasize the benefits of PrairieCat.

TRAINING: Did You Know, November 2019 - Using Create Lists to keep in touch with your patrons

If you are familiar with Create Lists and you have Excel, Word, and Outlook, you can create reports in Sierra, format them in Excel, and then use the mail merge feature in Word to email your patrons for a variety of reasons. This month's Did You Know? explains how these notifications work.

The PC Technical Services Committee will meet Thursday, October 10, 2019 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM in person @ Reddick Public Library.  We will also try to allow attendance via Zoom.
