A Basic Serials class has been added for Friday, October 26th, 2018 from 9a-12p at the Coal Valley Service Center. Registration is now available for this class in L2 at:  https://www.librarylearning.info/events/?eventID=27927.

Who should attend:  Fully Participating or Basic Online library staff

Prerequisites: Sierra Essentials and Cataloging Item Entry

Note:  only Fully Participating or Basic Online PrairieCat members are eligible to use this functionality

Description : This training is designed as an introduction to the Serials module for members interested in managing their subscriptions fully in Sierra. It will provide participants with a basic understanding of the capabilities of the Serials module and an overview of navigating the Serials functionality, especially for serials with a regular publication cycle.

TRAINING: Tip of the Month, September 2018 - Viewing Fines Paid

This month's Tip of the Month reviews how to use the Fines Paid function in Sierra. You can generate a list of all fines paid, waived, forgiven, etc. at your library for a specific time period. Review the attached document for more details!

Patron Code 4 - New values added

The following values have been added to the Patron Code 4 dropdown listing. These new codes will display the next time you log into Sierra.

The Patron Code 4 is an optional fixed field used to track geography or home library for non-PC reciprocal borrowers.
