Circulation Committee
This 11 member Standing Committee discusses circulation and OPAC topics. It is empowered to make decision on procedure and some policy decisions, and to make recommendations to the Administrative Council for higher level policy decisions. It also reviews circulation procedures and works together to resolve circulation issues. The meetings are open meetings, so anyone is welcome to attend, but only the 11 members vote. Meeting minutes will be shared with the Circulation and OPAC user community shortly after each meeting.
MARC/MARC trainee Catalogers Meeting
The MARC/MARC trainee Catalogers meeting addresses cataloging topics and issues to ensure integrity of the database. The meetings are open meetings, so anyone is welcome to attend, but only the MARC/MARC trainee Catalogers vote. Meeting minutes will be shared with the Technical Services user community shortly after each meeting
Technical Services Committee
This 11 member Standing Committee discusses technical services topics. It is empowered to make decision on procedure and some policy decisions, and to make recommendations to the Administrative Council for higher level policy decisions. It also reviews technical services procedures and works together to resolve technical services issues. The meetings are open meetings, so anyone is welcome to attend, but only the 11 members vote. Meeting minutes will be shared with the Technical Services user community shortly after each meeting.

Engagement Committee
The Engagement Committee works to actively engage members at all levels, to create connections and advance the organization through activities like PrairieCat's annual conference PUG Day, peer networking opportunities, and more.
Training & Enhancements Committee
This committee creates training resources for staff and patrons, and reviews and recommends potential enhancements suggested by the PrairieCat staff and members for submission to Innovative.
Meet quarterly in August, November, February and May. 1st Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Union List Representatives
Four Union List member representatives are elected for two year terms and meet semi-annually with PrairieCat staff, or as needed more frequently, to review UL issues. Union List members are also welcome to run for seats on the Circulation Committee or the Technical Services Committee, where general decisions on policies and procedures are discussed.

User Experience Committee
The User Experience Committee addresses interface issues like ematerials integration, website development, and the potential for other user enhancements to PrairieCat’s systems.
